History: 

World Blend was established in 2011. It is a family owned and operated specialty coffee house located in North Fort Worth with a true point of difference: a coffee house that offers a convenient ship and copy center. This coffee shop was created on the principle that work and pleasure is possible. You can grab your daily coffee fix and get your work finished and delivered. 

World Blend Coffee offers iced and hot coffee drinks such as drip coffee, lattes and frappes, iced and hot coffee alternatives such as natural juices, teas and smoothies, pastries, home-made breakfast and lunch items, vegan and gluten free options, as well as free wireless Internet access. 

World Blend Office offers a variety of shipping and office services such as UPS, FEDEX, DHL and USPS as well as copying, printing, laminating and notary on site.

Meet the Business Owners: 

Valdy Pinto, owner and head barista at World Blend, has a track record of success with over 20 years experience in the restaurant industry managing chain as well as family-owned restaurants in different countries, such as Brazil, England, and the U.S. He also has a track record of success in keeping and increasing high customer satisfaction standards by offering great quality products and great customer service. Valdy Pinto is a former manager of Olive Garden, and Patrizio's Italian Restaurants in Texas. Valdy developed the concept of World Blend with the idea of not just connecting people inside the coffee shop, but through transcending barriers and connecting people all over the world through shipping, mailing and other services.

Valdy is no stranger to coffee. If you ask about his childhood, he’ll tell you about growing up in Brazil, in a culture that sat down for breakfast every morning to a mostly empty table. Back then, milk was expensive, so the first meal of the day wasn’t cereal… it was a chunk of bread, accompanied by the best cup of local-grown, artisan-roasted coffee you’ve ever tasted, shared with family. And on a really good day, you got a splash of milk in your mug.

This foundation of family, of culture and close-knit community, is the heart of World Blend. Valdy aims to serve the local community in the way that he knows best – by being there during the most important times of his patrons lives.

Complete with a quiet but full-service business services center, you’ll find that once you learn about World Blend, it will become a regular part of the fabric of your day.

 Geraldyne Pinto, Valdy’s wife, is co-owner and head of marketing and events. She has a strong background in the marketing field managing advertising for small, medium and large companies such as IBM, General Motors and Direct Energy. She’s been the complement and behind the scenes part of World Blend to maintain long-lasting and ever-present relationships with customers.

What happens at World Blend? 

 You’ll come by at Christmas when you send packages to loved ones. You’ll swing by on cold days to warm up with the kids, or to take advantage of the events hosted for the community. If you’re a student you’ll find yourself here during the stressful times, taking advantage of the Wi-Fi and quiet study room in the back, or if you just come for a business meeting and need privacy, you will get it. You’ll make friends, find new family, and become rooted in the community here in North Fort Worth.
